What is Kantha? It is the oldest traditional Indian embroidery technique. Kantha textiles are created from old Saris, it is an embroidery work made from leftover fabrics but instead of cutting and sewing the pieces together, they are superimposed on each other.

Today, kantha embroidery is performed on pieces of cotton or silk, to create richly decorated saris or shawls.

We work in collaboration with workshops in Jaipur, India in accordance with our ethical values.

Each garment is made from recycled saris and selected one by one by Anne-Marie, all our pieces are therefore unique.
